IEAEBA organized a pioneering webinar on the relationship between Employer Branding and AI.
The Employer Branding and Generative AI webinar illuminated key insights, offering a glimpse into a future where human potential seamlessly integrates with AI advancements.
AI is NOT your creative director. AI is your intern.
Paul Baier, CEO – GAI Insights (US) and Author at Harvard Business Review emphasized the responsible integration of AI within organizations. He urged caution against promoting those who haven’t embraced AI, suggesting an experimental approach using ChatGPT for job descriptions. Baier framed AI as more than a tool but not as the replacement of a senior creative executive. AI is your intern.
An intern can save you time if you give a detailed brief, Paul Baier underlined:give them a task, but check it as if they were an intern, improve it, send it back with another task and check again. The key is to check frequently, because although your AI intern can be a great help, it is fast and efficient, but for now AI is still at a trainee level so the right guidelines can help a lot.
How fast is AI spreading? Like no other platform in the history. (time to reach 100 million monthly active users)
AI can learn to understand human creativity
From the UK, Tom Chesterton and Mark Horley of Tonic painted a vivid picture of AI’s transformative power in employer branding. They revealed AI’s role in streamlining processes, providing data-driven insights, and infusing creativity. Yet, the duo acknowledged AI’s ongoing quest to fully replicate human creativity, emphasizing the symbiotic relationship where humans guide AI to understand the uncharted.
Tonic recreated with AI their world-famous Burger King employer branding campaign. Created with Midjourney, the difference between human creativity and AI creativity speaks for itself.
Fear of technical unemployment
Dado Van Peterghem from Imagin3 Studio and author of The Virtual Economy debunked fears of technical unemployment, stating that humans won’t be replaced by AI but by other humans utilizing AI. He highlighted AI gains—faster acceleration, cost reduction, and richer enhancement—ushering in a „Man Machine Collaboration World.” Peterghem highlighted the competitive advantage of building relationships in this new era.
